SJ INTERCITY TRAIN SJ InerCity trains are one of the most often used trains in Sweden. It's a long-distance train running throughout many cities and towns in Sweden. One of the most popular routes is Stockholm to Malmo. SJ REGIONAL TRAIN SJ Regional trains are short-distance trains, operating on most of the lines in central Sweden. Usually, regional trains do not travel distances over 4 hours. However, despite its name, trains often travel relatively long distances with only a few stops, for example, the route from Stockholm to Gothenburg. Mainly used as commuter trains, SJ Regional does not always provide all services as on other SJ train types. Usually, there is no 1st travel class, and almost all the trains come with 2nd class. What's more, power sockets are available on most trains, while Wi-Fi is only available on X40, which starting point is Stockholm. Plus, some train services provide a bistro car. |
